Our story
Connections Bali was born from a love of dance, community, and the magic of movement that brings people together.
Bali has long been a place where cultures blend, where travelers find unexpected friendships, and where creativity thrives. As someone who has spent years dancing, teaching, and experiencing the global Kizomba scene, I knew that Bali had the perfect energy for something special. I wanted to create a festival that wasn’t just about learning steps but about deepening connections—on and off the dance floor.
The idea
The idea started with a simple thought: What if we could bring together amazing dancers, incredible instructors, from all over the world and a vibe that feels more like a family than a festival? From there, Connections Bali began to take shape
Urban Kizz was the first dance style for the event. The goal was to create a space where both beginners and advanced dancers could grow, feel inspired, and experience the magic of dancing in Bali.
Evolving making it even more special
The first edition was a mix of excitement, sleepless nights, and pure joy. Seeing people travel from different parts of the world, sharing their passion, and leaving with new friendships and unforgettable memories made it all worth it.
